Intellectual Property Law protects the owner from infringement and counterfeiting. It is a Substantive Lawand hence creates rights and duties. It also follows property law(such as Contract Law, Tort, Criminal Lawetc.) and procedural lawsuch as Evidence, Criminal Procedure Code etc.
